Objective: The general objective of this MOU is to establish long-term research collaboration in integrated water resources management, water quality, flood and drought monitoring and management, and ecological restoration in catchments, which are relevant to the industrial, scientific, social and cultural interests and needs of China, the United Kingdom and globally.

Areas of cooperation:

    - Exchange of faculty, researchers and other research staff;
    - Collaborative research projects in the fields of integrated water resources management, water quality, flood and drought monitoring and management, and ecological restoration in catchments to apply for national and international research funding;
    - Scholarly exchange through lectures and symposia; and
    - Promotion of other academic cooperation as mutually agreed.
