Abstract: Many landslides occurred on operation of the flyash dam in an electric power plant on soft foundations. Though stake-anchor used in many anti-landslide, deformation and displacement have been observed such as land upheaval. Based on primary treatments, optimum treatments of seepage draining and reinforcement have been analyzed, and comprehensive reinforcement programs have been proposed. Results show the simple reinforcement treatment can not prevent the landslide effectively sometimes, and effective seepage draining can decrease the height of saturation line and improve stability of flyash dam. This research method has significant reference value for similar projects.
