Abstract: Many defects occur in hydraulic concrete structures, such as seepage, cracks, erosion damage by freezing and thawing, frost heave, anti-abrasion cavitation and the leakage of stretching joints. In order to eliminate these defects, it is necessary to adopt effective and reliable amending materials and technologies. A kind of flexible protective coating material(SK) with good performance is introduced in this article together with its application method. SK one component brush polyurea coating has high tensile strength, high elongation, good bonding with base concrete, anti-scouring and anti- seepage capacity, good aging resistance, easy construction etc. It has been widely used in many hydropower projects, with significant application results on safety and reliability.
Key words: one component brush polyurea; protective coating; mending technology
