Beijing IWHR Corporation completed its safety monitoring tasks for Deze Reservoir, a source water structure for the project that diverts water from Niulan River to Dianchi Lake.

Researchers made proposals on monitoring equipment selection, design of behind-the-dam observation house, excavation of grooves on the dam body, and cable laying. Innovations were also made in technologies such as internal installation and burying of leveler panels, and inner deformation monitoring of high slopes.
