Stabilizing slurry using plaster used for the first time in subway construction for anti-seepage and reinforcement
Time: 2016-01-12 | Hits:

Beijing IWHR Corporation has finished an anti-seepage construction using plaster as the stabilizing slurry for the subway tunneling in Nanning, southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The subway tunnel is below groundwater level in the strata of round pebble that has a high water content and permeability. As a result, the risk and difficulty is high when the shield tunneling machine is moving out of the station.

This is the first time such new method is used in subway construction, and has significantly decreased expenses and shortened the time needed for a sound effect of impermeability and reinforcement.
